Das Peach Haus

The lovely folks from Fischer and Wieser held a media day at Das Peach Haus where we toured the gorgeous property and ate/drank ALL the things! It was one of the sweetest summer days and I’m now a die hard fan of all their delicious products!

Their jams, jellies and sauces range from the original Roasted Raspberry Chipotle to limited editions Peach Balsamic Preserves and so many others. I love that the sauces are so flavorful – to make a great appetizer, all you have to do is grab some cheese and top it with some sauce! It’s insanely delicious.

The retail store is so darling with beautiful displays including this old fashioned cart!

Can’t forget the amazing peach bellinis we were welcomed with!

We were welcomed out by the pond for a farm to table lunch! It was absolutely beautiful.

Their peach tomato salad was just featured in Better Homes and Garden. There was also pasta primavera and sausage with peppers. Sooooo yummy! I had the White Wing from Becker Vineyards which paired perfectly with the light summery meal.

This dessert was one of my favourite things I ate all day – Amaretto Peach Pecan bread pudding!

This was the view from our lunch – serene and breathtaking.

As if that wasn’t enough food, we went to the Tasting Room for a Christmas themed feast!

It included a perfectly plated charcuterie board, of course.

And the most amazing ham, meatballs, and turkey sandwiches! There were three fantastic wines that were paired with the food, including the Lily Reserve – a fantastic dry Muscat from Brennan Vineyards that I can’t stop thinking about.

But wait, there’s more!

We were shown to the Cooking School where Chef John DeMers taught us great ways to make simple foods, amazing! We had more wine (of course) and I sipped on both red and white Sauvignon’s from Saint Marc.

I left with an extremely full and happy belly. I was so impressed by their hospitality and authenticity. Fischer and Wieser really love what they do and love sharing food – their passion is evident in all they do. I can’t wait to go back – I recommend heading there ASAP!
