Buenos Aires and Mendel Wines Dinner Party

Published by Monique on

I had the honor to dine in the Milonga Room at Buenos Aires Cafe this past weekend and what a delight it was! Mendel Wines from Argentina brought five amazing wines to taste with a tapas menu created by the chefs at Buenos Aires. It was a decadent experience full of contrasting flavors and textures (and amazing wine).

Lamb chop, roasted duck and spicy blackberry compote paired with the Unus Mendel wine

Burrata ravioli in a short rib au jus, pork belly macaron, dark chocolate truffle with a Malbec Mendel wine

Roasted sweet potato with gouda shaving with a Malbec blend Mendel wine

Candied butternut squash with micro greens with a Malbec blend Mendel wine

Roasted and smoked oyster mushrooms with a Malbec Mendel wine

Roasted pork loin with cranberry and arugula and short rib with bbq paired with a Malbec Mendel wine

Red snapper ceviche in a seashell with a Semillon Mendel wine

It was such an incredible evening and I can’t wait for the next event at Buenos Aires and the Milonga Room! If you haven’t been, you can check them out during their Latin Happy Hour on Wednesday’s from 5 – 7 pm where you can get 50% off South American Cocktails and get $2 empanadas with live Latin music!
