Brunch at Boiler Nine Bar + Grill

Published by Monique on

Boiler Nine Bar + Grill have a brunch that’s beaming with bright, beautiful, and delicious drinks and eats. Not only is their gorgeous bar and grill filled with natural light due to their large windows, but the funky, modern, industrial decor invites you in to eat all of the things.

I can’t believe I never had an aperol spritz before, but I’m now a huge fan of them! Yes, it slightly resembles Tang, but in a grown up way. Also, that color is just lovely. Brunch snacks include a watermelon-mint salad, beer bread with smoked beef fat butter, avocado toast with pickled onions and goat cheese, and steak fries with grana padano.

The Devil’s Cup has white Pimm’s, black currant, ginger, beet, lemon fresh mint and berries. This drink is perfect, no matter the time of day.

Behold, the star of the show. The shrimp and grits are packed with complex flavors and textures. They also added andoulie sausage and pickled okra to add even more depth. This is one of my favourite brunch meals to date.

Other rememberable dishes include the grilled angus brisket hash with creamy potatoes and a fried egg, and the grilled lamb with potatoes, greens and watermelon radishes. Soooo yummy! And that presentation is just beaaauuuutiful. I can’t wait to go back for more noms!
