Veggie Heaven’s New Downtown Location
This girl loves her meat, so when I heard about an entirely vegan restaurant, I wasn’t so sure about it. But now, I’m 100% sure that I’m in love with Veggie Heaven.
Just look at this spread. If your eyes don’t widen and you slightly salivate, are you even looking?
The entire appetizer menu is fantastic. My favourites include the curry bun (made fresh to order), scallion pancakes, and pot stickers. They have specials that change frequently but a mainstay is the cauliflower wings – get them in a teriyaki sauce for the ultimate snack!
One of my favourite dishes is the Currylicious dish with broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, mushrooms, tofu and basil in yellow curry sauce served with crispy bun pastry. I also loved the Protein Nuggets with ramen noodles, fried vegetable proteins, broccoli, baby bok choy, cauliflower, carrots, napa cabbage and onions in a garlic sauce. Another amazing entree is the Basil Tofu made with broccoli, baby bok choy, cauliflower, carrots, napa cabbage, fried tofu, onions and garlic in a basil sauce. Deeeelicious!
