Marciano’s Italian Kitchen in Dallas

Published by Monique on

There’s a new Italian restaurant in Dallas called Marciano’s and I’m head over heels about it!! Y’all know that Andiamo is my favourite Italian spot in Austin, but now I finally have a favourite Italian spot in Dallas for all my folks out there!!

We started out with a couple glasses of Malbec (which were only $5 a glass during reverse happy hour!) We then had a massive (and delicious) caesar salad with housemade garlic rolls and marinara. The rolls were like clouds of air – I don’t know how they make them so fluffy and light!

The spinach artichoke dip is not for the light of heart. It’s cheesy, gooey, and so warm! The garlic crostinis are the perfect pairing.

Here comes the meaty and monstrous philly cheese steak stromboli. It is everything you want on a cold winter day. Or a hot summer day. Or any day really because it’s just so dang good!

My favourite thing I had was the lobster ravioli topped with gulf shrimp. There were tons of lump crab meat inside the large hand filled ravioli and a perfect red peppers sauce with fresh veggies on top. It was impeccable.

The chicken parmigiana is what classic Italian eats are made of. The large crispy chicken cutlet is covered in melty mozzarella and lays on a bed of spaghetti with mixed veggies on the side.

The baked ziti is customizable – we loaded it with veggies and added a spicy arrabiata sauce to it. SO GOOD.

What’s an Italian feast without a lovely square of tiramisu? Fluffy, sweet, and layered with love. Marciano’s is a place where food is made authentically and with real ingredients. The service was amazing and the open kitchen means you can watch the chefs at work making their food with so much love. I loved every moment of it and I can’t wait to return (which I know will be within the next few weeks)!
