Incredible New Asian-Inspired Happy Hour Menu at Native Hostels

Published by Monique on

I am soooo excited about this new happy hour menu from the team at Native Hostels. They’ve elevated their menu (particularly their happy hour menu) with bold spices and colorful veggies that I truly can’t stop thinking about!

Pictured are the hibiscus bergamot gin cocktail and the grapefruit negroni. The best kinds of happy hours have both amazing food AND drinks.

These curried vegan egg rolls are made with housemade spiced seitan, mixed veggies and a citrus chile sauce. I honestly thought these were beef egg rolls – they were sooooo tasty y’all! And you get 4 of them for only $5!

Above the egg rolls are fish puppies made with white fish and seasoned with bright green herbs, served with adobo aioli. These were the most unique bites on the menu – if you like fish and Asian spices, you’ll love this dish (and again it’s only $5!)

The baby bahn mi was abother delicious menu item – fried chicken thigh, kimchi omelette, carrot slaw, fresh herbs, chiles and a delicious adobo aioli drizzled on top with a side of mixed greens. There’s nothing baby about it other than it being cut in half – it’s a huge sammie and only $5 during happy hour,

These sambal barbacoa tostadas were my absolute fave – served with housemade sambal braised beef, peanut sesame salsa, cotija and a spicy papaya salad! Two big tostadas are only $5!

I really liked the native margarita made with Reposado tequila, orange liqueur, and grapefruit bitters. Not too sweet or too strong but just right!

Fun fact: you can rent out their Romper Room that sleeps 8 people and can hold up to 40 for parties and events!
