Recipe #36: GF Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip CBD Cookies
As you may or may not know, I’m not much of a baker. I’m actually kind of a bad baker. So when I say these are so easy to make, I really mean it! #sponsored
I partnered with @wildplantco and used their premium full spectrum hemp extract oil (aka CBD oil) to make these gluten free peanut butter chocolate chip CBD cookies. WildPlant believes in plant-based healing through powerful botanicals and uses only the highest quality hemp and has rigorous testing for their products. You can enjoy their CBD oil topically or orally, but I say what better way to enjoy it than in a form of a cookie?!
Ingredients:
2 full droppers of WildPlant CBD oil
1 1/2 cups of GF flour (i used a mix of coconut flour, almond flour and cassava flour)
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
6 tbsp melted butter
2 tbsp peanut butter
1/2 cup chocolate chips
splash of oat milk
Directions:
Mix the flour and baking powder in a bowl and set aside.
In a medium size bowl, whisk the CBD oil, sugar, butter, and oat milk until thoroughly mixed.
Then whisk in the peanut butter until smooth. add in the dry ingredients and mix with a rubber spatula.
Next, fold in the chocolate chips. Allow to rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
Grab your cookie dough from the fridge and use an ice cream scooper and place the dough on the parchment paper.
Shape the cookies with your hands and bake for 10 – 12 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes and enjoy!
**This recipe makes 6 cookies and each cookie has ~15 mg of CBD oil 🍪🍪🍪
