Recipe #38: Creamy Dreamy Smoothie Bowl
When you want breakfast in under 5 minutes, this is what you make.
Yes, we are working from home, but we are still working, and we still need to fuel our bodies with nutritional (and tasty) things. Enter this smoothie bowl. It’s creamy, it’s tangy, it’s got bits of crunch, and it’s everything you want for breakfast (or really, anytime of day). Here’s how to make this scrummy smoothie bowl:
- 1 blueberry + hemp smoothie from Daily Harvest
- 1 scoop of Tera’s plant-based vanilla protein powder (optional)
- 1 scoop of Vital Proteins collagen peptides (optional)
- 1 tsp of Moodbeli ashwagandha powder (optional)
- tsp of Karen Berrios maca powder (optional)
- 1/4 cup Nature’s Path GF coconut granola
- drizzle of Bee Seasonal honey
- half a banana, sliced
Directions:
Blend the Daily Harvest blueberry + hemp smoothie (optional: add in the four other powders for extra oomph) with 1/4 cup of water until smooth. The consistency should be very thick but still a little viscous so that it’s easy to pour.
Next, pour the smoothie in a small bowl and smooth out the top with a spoon.
Then, add the granola and banana slices and drizzle the honey.
