Brunch at El Chile
El Chile Cafe y Cantina has a new brunch menu and it is the perfect tex-mex hangover cure! Their rajas queso is super creamy and served with double fried tortilla chips, Pro tip: ask for a small side of guacamole and mix it in for extra yumminess. Their agua frescas are incredible fresh and flavorful – I chose the watermelon and Joel got the strawberry. Both are super delicious.
I went with the Charlie’s Omelette which is packed full of mushrooms, peppers, cheese, and chorizo and crispy home fries with black beans. It was huge – I had to take half of it home!
Joel got the barbacoa and huevos rancheros which was such a perfect dish – you get a little bit of everything! It comes with (perfectly smoked) barbacoa, (perfectly runny) fried eggs, (super fresh) ranchero sauce, and refried beans. You also get your choice of tortillas to build your own taco with all the yummy fillings!
I’d recommend this place for anyone who loves real tex-mex with quality ingredients and a huge festive patio!
