My Favorite Food Truck of 2023: La Taquicardia
This is a bold statement, but I found the best food truck in Austin this year. La Taquicardia is serving authentic, traditional, and phenomenal Mexican food including fan favorite items like the quesabirria and chicken mole, and they won me over at first bite.
Their newest location at Colton House Hotel is nestled inside their beautiful coffee shop and bar Simona’s and it’s my fave location they have!
I truly love their whole menu but my faves are:
quesabirria (look at that meaty cheesy goodness!)
chicken molé (best mole everrrr)
salmon tacos (so incredibly fresh)
chicken tikka masala taco (don’t knock it till you try it)
cochinita pibil (made from a Yucatan native!)
aaaand their wide variety of desserts that you can get through their catering services!
I’ve been to every single location and have always had great experiences with their staff, have always loved my food, and even had the honor of having them at my birthday party this year!
I love being able to support local family owned business that are doing honest, authentic, and truly impressive work. I was honored to work with La Taquicardia this year in a social media marketing standpoint, and I know they will continue to see huge successes next year!
