Andiamo’s Spring 2018 Menu
Y’all know that one of my favourite restaurants in town is Andiamo – they’ve been here for 14 years and have consistently amazing, authentic, fantastic Italian cuisine. I had a sneak preview of their new spring menu and you can see all the details with pictures below! I loved every SINGLE menu item. Seriously. It was such an amazing experience, and if I had to choose, the beet ravioli and pear dessert were my favourites.
Ronchetti di Cetriolo e Mascarpone
Fresh cucumber, filled with mascarpone and cream cheese, topped with smoked salmon, chives and basil olive oil
Cozze in Umido
Black mussels, sautéed in a light spicy tomato sauce, served with toasted Andiamo bread
Tagliatelle al Ragu
Homemade tagliatelle pasta with ragu’ alla Bolognese sauce
Ravioli di Barbabietole
Homemade red beets and all-natural Italian ricotta ravioli, sautéed in pistachio and basil pesto sauce
Gnocchi alla Salvia e Piselli
Potato dumplings with mushrooms, green peas and fresh garlic, in a brown butter and sage sauce, finished with pecorino cheese. (available only for lunch)
Anatra all’Arancia
Pan roasted duck breast, with orange zest, in an orange brandy sauce, served with asparagus.
Cheesecake all’Arancia
Orange and all-natural ricotta, cheesecake.
Pere al Vino Rosso
Pear cooked in red wine, filled with mascarpone cream.
