Pizza & Pasta Dreams at Regal Ravioli and Lunar Pizza

Zach Adams, founder and owner of Regal Ravioli and Lunar Pizza, is creating honest and authentic eats off S 1st St and I had the privilege of trying loads of delicious menu items! Both trailers have simple but fantastic menus with options like crimini mushroom ravioli with pecan pesto sauce (at Regal) and a whopping ”18 pie with toppings like hot Italian chicken sausage (at Lunar) and yes I devoured both of those aforementioned.

The ingredients were incredibly fresh – I love the swirled sauce and cheese, too! Zach makes everything New Jersey style, so the cheese is baked into the crust. I know, it’s brilliant. I loved the paper thing crust and perfectly baked crispy edges. He opened the pizza trailer earlier this year and I’m sooo glad he did!

He’s been making ravioli at the truck for 6 years and they’re known as the “the King of ravioli” for a reason. These perfectly handmade little pockets of goodness are so delightful. The seasonal butternut squash is a MUST – add their gouda veloute for a perfect fall meal! Regal Ravioli also has sandwiches, gnocchi, spaghetti and (amazing) meatballs.

If you’re wanting something a little lighter, get the pear and lentil salad! It’s such an interesting mix of tender green lentils tossed with roasted red bell peppers, diced pear, citrus vinaigrette, toasted pecans and crumbled blue cheese. Super delicious!

Isn’t Zach the cutest dough maker you’ve ever seen?! You can find him doing all of the things from Monday – Saturday noon to 10pm and Sunday from 3 pm – 10 pm!
