Three Tips for Successful Meal Prepping

Here are 3 of the BEST meal prep tricks to make the most of your time and money!

1. Let’s say you’re doing meal prep for 3 recipes for the week. Choose recipes with 10 or less ingredients and under 20 minutes to make. Make it easier on yourself with repetitive ingredients just prepared differently!

2. Take advantage of free curbside pick up. Yes you still have to place the grocery order online which takes some time, but you can save money by sticking to your list, using in-app coupons, and not picking up random items down the aisles that you probably won’t eat. Meal prep victory!

 

3. Set yourself up for success by planning ahead – write down in your calendar what meals you want to eat on which days. Pick a day of the week where you have 2-3 hours to actually cook and clean up. Yes it takes some time and effort but think about your future self a few days from now – meal prep led you to have healthy, delicious foods in your fridge that you made! That feeling of accomplishment paired with well made food will be so worth it!!
