Austin Food and Wine Festival 2024

Published by Monique on

It’s like Christmas but for foodies!

Another year of absolutely incredible food and wine at AFW has come and gone but let’s take a moment to recognize how TRULY outstanding it was! This year has been one of the best in my 7 years of attending – the grounds were much more organized with two separate entrances, there was A LOT more food that lasted until the end of each day, and the wine selection was very impressive. But really, the food was the best I’ve seen it in all my years attending.

The price is hefty for some ($200 for a one day pass) BUT I think you get your money’s worth – there isn’t anywhere else that you can enjoy 20+ local food vendors putting out impressive dishes, unlimited booze and see some of your fave cooking personalities from TV! I was grateful to be hosted by the festival for another year, and I’m already anticipating next year’s event!

You can see this IG post with more details about this delicious experience – but just believe me when I say the festival is truly BETTER than ever!

One last glass with AIX Provence Rose was the right move. Such a phenomenal weekend full of amazing food and fun. Until next year!

Other bites that I LOVED but not pictured:

Casa Bianca’s tortellini shots

Bar Peached sesame noodles

East Side King tuna hand roll

El Raval’s wagyu meatball

Chef Jo’s BBQ pork and rice
