Hot Luck Fest 2018

Published by Monique on

The 2nd Annual Hot Luck Festival was even better than I could’ve imagined: I had some of the best smoked meats, enjoyed cuisine from the most talented chefs, met a ton of many friendly faces, and oh, the tequila. Here are a few of my favourite bites from the weekend!

Al Fuego:

Central Standard’s grilled oysters

Suerte’s spicy brisket taco

Espolon’s delicious tequila

L’oca D’oro’s porchetta melt

Momofuku’s spicy ribs

Tillamook’s ice cream float

The Walrus and the Carpenter’s classic Seattle hotdog

Contigo’s ox tongue and veggies

Fat Rice’s teriyaki stir fry

The Garrison’s pork belly and peaches

Kemuri Tatsuya’s chashu pork

Coupe de Grille:

Il Brutto’s eggplant toasts and burrata

Valentina’s spicy brisket taco

Kevin Fink’s migas tacos

Olympia Provisions’ charcuterie

Cured’s pâté sandwich

Mixtli’s korean bbq nachos

Thanks to Giant Noise for the ticket and to all the people who worked so hard to make Hot Luck happen.
