The Best Cocktail Lounge in East Austin

Austin is constantly opening new bars, speakeasies and lounges but a lot of them don’t live up to the hype (and have $20+ drinks…)

However, I’ve found a spot that not only has the vibes but they are also producing incredibly complex and fun cocktails PLUS tasty bar bites that go beyond a bowl of glorified nuts.

Bosses Office opened late last year after the previous concept, Swift’s Pizza, had been burglarized many, many times. The new lounge has created a space for customers to enjoy phenomenal cocktails and delicious food in an upscale but cozy environment.

I’ve been several times this year and have loved every visit! They are constantly introducing new drinks and food items, and here’s a look at my latest visit!

its the best little charcuterie board for 2! And these marinated olives literally taste like a pizza. I don’t understand it but I love it. Also the Bert and Ernie drink with a rubber ducky inside!? We LOVE a playful concept that takes all snootiness away!

So many amazing cocktails, so little time. PS you can ask them to whip up something off the menu and they will happily oblige!

Last but not least… the new brie and fig grilled cheese! Who doesn’t want a delicious little tea sandwich with their delightful cocktails?!

Bosses Office is open Wednesday & Sunday from 5-10pm and Thursday – Saturday from 5pm-midnight!
