JewBoy Burgers at 5000 Burnet

There are a plethora of amazing food trucks in town and it can get overwhelming. However, 5000 Burnet is home to some of the BEST trucks in town, including JewBoy Burgers. Chef Mo comes from El Paso and grew up Jewish. That meant mashups like chile latkes and pastrami on everything. These burgers are made with 1/2 lb of ground beef smashed on top of caramelized onions, a thick layer of cheddar cheese, pickles, yellow mustard, lettuce and fluffy potato buns!

If you can’t tell, I’m a big fan of these big cheeseburgers. They’re incredibly juicy, flavorful, and are a no fuss classic. The latkes and queso are also amazing sides! The queso is one of the most flavorful ones I’ve had in Austin, and the latkes are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It’s the perfect Mexican-Jewish blend!
